Daniel W. Anderson is an attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada and managing partner at Mills & Anderson. He represents clients throughout Clark County, including Henderson and North Las Vegas. Daniel has been practicing law in Clark county since October 2006. In 2004, Daniel began work as a law clerk with Mills & Mills. Upon passing the bar exam, he was hired as an associate in 2006. In October of 2013, he became a partner with the firm.
Daniel’s practice is focused on business and family law, and he also handles personal injury case. He handles litigation in civil cases on behalf of the firm’s clients, including business disputes, corporate dissolution, breach of contract claims, and other business litigation matters.
Daniel also serves as corporate/advisory counsel for small businesses in the Las Vegas Area, including two non-profit corporations, custom clothing retailer, trucking company, private investment firm and several other small businesses. He has organized dozens of LLCs and drafted many business agreements, including secured transactions, seller financed franchise agreements, seller financed business sales agreements, partnership interest transfer agreements, celebrity licensing agreements, commercial leases, profit sharing agreements and many others.
In addition to business law cases, Daniel has also handled every type of family law case, including divorce, custody, termination of parental rights, adoption, non-parent visitation, child support and alimony, abuse and neglect, and guardianship.

Education and Community Involvement
Daniel attended Southern Utah University from 1998 to 2002 and received a bachelor’s degree in Education with a minor in Biology. He was selected as a member of the 1st team academic all-conference and all-conference teams in Track and Field for the Summit League Conference and named team captain for the 2001 academic year.
Daniel is active in the legal community as a member of the Nevada Bar Association. He has served as a volunteer judge for the Clark County Truancy Diversion program. The program was implemented in an effort to divert truant students and/or students with behavioral and academic problems from formal truancy proceedings. It allows the students the opportunity to receive one on one attention from the Truancy Diversion Judge to assist them in setting goals and overcoming obstacles. Under this program, they can become self-sustaining, independent and successful students.
Daniel also volunteers with the local boy scouts as a Scoutmaster. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, running, basketball and soccer and spending time with his wife and children. Daniel and the firm are also proud supporters of local high school athletics and have sponsored several middle school and high school teams throughout Clark County.
Background
Raised in Sandy, Utah, Daniel lived for two years in the Philippines while serving a volunteer church mission. After returning from the Philippines, Daniel lived in Cedar City, Utah, where he completed his bachelor’s degree. After graduation, he moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he completed his first year of law school at Creighton University. He received his Law Degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 2006. Along with his wife and children, Daniel has lived in Henderson, Nevada, since 2004.
